Since then this department has played a vital role in producing excellent chemical experts for our chemical industry and innovative chemical researches.
The department has several excellent research institutions including functional material institutes, bio-physio sensor research institute, plastic IT research centers. Since 2006, the department has been funded by the 2nd BK21 program and most graduate students have been financially supported. At present the department has a total of 16 active faculty members and 4 emeritus professors.
We are proud to have 390 undergraduate, 47 MS, and 20 Ph. D. students. Moreover, a total of 14 post-doctoral fellows are actively involved in topnotch chemical researches.
